Supposedly baseball is still being played. I wouldn’t have known other than the fact they mentioned it on ESPN this morning. Apparently, the Tampa Bay Rays from Florida (uniforms and everything) have made it to the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies, the team with that Subway spokesman (Ryan Howard). As of today, the series is being won 3-1 by the Phillies who are doing quite well without their all-time great pitcher Mitch “Wild Thing” Williams. Huzzah Philly, and good luck.
