The Bowls.

It’s bowl time. For some, it’s the best time of the year, for others, it’s time to ask questions like “I didn’t even know they still had a team” or “what is the Beef O’Brady bowl?” Well, this is your place for all the answers, guesses, prognostications and random knowledge. Here is every bowl, with a pick to win.

New Mexico Bowl
BYU 35 UTEP 23: Both are 6-6, but the BYU 6-6 looks better. I honestly didn’t even know UTEP was eligible.

Humanitarian Bowl
Fresno State 24 Northern Illinois 23: Average WAC team vs. a pretty good MAC team.

New Orleans Bowl (it is unfortunate I can’t find audio of the North Texas president after they won the New Orleans Bowl some time ago. It is audio gold. “North Texasuses particicpaaaaashunnnn”
Ohio 33 Troy 27: Both teams are just happy to be in New Orleans. Any team lead by Boo Jackson is ok with me.

Beef O’Brady’s Bowl (my favorite bowl of the year. How could you not love it?)
Southern Miss 20 Louisville 17: I don’t even know what to say. 6-6 Louisville. Uggh.

Las Vegas Bowl (one of the best of the match ups, we hope)
Boise State 40 Utah 27: Seems to be a good match up, but the Broncos are not happy. Hopefully it doesn’t come down to a field goal, wait what?

Poinsettia Bowl (aah so pretty)
Navy 23 San Diego State 21: This one could be ugly, I like Navy though.

Hawaii Bowl (other wise known as “the bowl game Hawaii always plays in)
Tulsa 41 Hawaii 37: This game will feature no defense. Of course, with that prediction, it will finish 13-7 or something.

Little Caesar’s Bowl (You can go in before the game and get a really fast/cheap version)
Toledo 32 Florida International 20: Hmm, how does a 6-6 FIU team make a bowl game? Oh that’s right, there are too many bowls.

Independence Bowl
Georgia Tech 28 Air Force 25: This will be a good game, I don’t know why, but it will. AF has been competitive all year.

Champs Sports Bowl
West Virginia 33 North Carolina State 23: The Wolfpack are a good team, so are the Mountaineers. Good game then. Free shoes after the game!

Insight Bowl (formerly known as the Insight.com bowl..I guess they just thought the .com was confusing)
Missouri 27 Iowa 23: This will be another good match up. 2 teams who had high expectations and finished slowly.

Military Bowl (uhh, isn’t there an Armed Forces Bowl? I am confused. It would be like having the Sugar Bowl as well as the Sweets Bowl..or something.)
Maryland 38 East Carolina 20: I just think the ACC will win this one, although E. Carolina can play.

Texas Bowl (that’s where I live. I think the gift bag has steak, boots and bluebonnets)
Baylor 30 Illinois 27: Baylor is bound to win a bowl game…right? Robert Griffin is really good.

Alamo Bowl (that is is Texas too, maybe the Texas Bowl players will get a tiny Alamo as well)
Oklahoma State 45 Arizona 24: OKLAHOMA (that’s for Cullins) State had a chance at a BCS bowl, but blew it. I still think they are good though, will put up points galore.

Armed Forces Bowl
SMU 31 Army 17: SMU doesn’t have it’s on militia does it? Nevermind.

Pinstripe Bowl (Yankee Stadium…uggh, wonder if A-Rod will be there?)
Kansas State 24 Syracuse 21: Bill Snyder goes to Yankee Stadium for the first time since he was a teenager watching the 1920 Yankees win it all.

Music City Bowl
North Carolina 20 Tennessee 17: Do the Tarheels have ANY players still on scholarship? I think they whole team is still on probation.

Holiday Bowl (in other words, the game you have already seen this year)
Nebraska 56 Washington 21: This already happened, this already happened. Wait, didn’t this already happen?

Car Care Bowl (don’t forget to check your oil levels before you leave for the game)
Clemson 34 South Florida 24: I don’t know a lot about the Bulls, so give me Clemson.

Sun Bowl
Notre Dame 23 Miami 20: Nice old rivalry game, but Miami fired their coach, so how will they know what to do?

Liberty Bowl
Georgia 41 Central Florida 17: Maybe the Knights will be competitive, but Conference USA is a little different than the SEC.

Chick Fil A Bowl (oh man, the pre game/after game meals will be the best)
Florida State 27 South Carolina 24: Both teams lost in their conference championship games, but this should be a good matchup.

TicketCity Bowl (what?)
Texas Tech 38 Northwestern 30: Northwestern is a fun team to watch, but with Persa out the Red Raiders get it done.

Outback Bowl
Penn State 30 Florida 25: JoePa wins another bowl game. Dude is 157 years old.

Capital One Bowl (definitely one of the best non-BCS match ups)
Alabama 31 Michigan State 24: Surprising Bama lost 3 games this year, but they get back on track against Sparty.

Gator Bowl
Michigan 38 Mississippi State 35: Michigan can’t play defense, but Denard Robinson still plays for them. Remember him?

Rose Bowl
Wisconsin 24 TCU 23: Both teams score a lot of points, but this one is about the defense. Should be a GREAT game. TCU wants to prove they were “left out of the title game”.

Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma 41 UCONN 20: Wait, Uconn was allowed into a BCS game? Crazy. The Big East is awful, watch your back Sooners.

Orange Bowl
Stanford 33 Virginia Tech 24: This isn’t your dad’s (or mine) Virginia Tech team. Stanford is really really good. Andrew Luck will shine.

Sugar Bowl
Ohio State 34 Arkansas 32: Terrell Pryor comes alive again in the bowl game. The JWSB team to win it all this year disappointed, but finishes the season on another high note.

Go Daddy Bowl (Seriously..this is a bowl)
Middle Tennessee State 44 Miami (OH) 40: I don’t think anyone will watch this game. Could be the weekly “game nobody cares about” game.

Cotton Bowl (why is this not on the 1st? The 7th of January…really?)
LSU 30 Texas A&M 27: Ol Les Miles pulls one over on the Aggies in this one. Runs a fake punt on the first play of the game, Aggies don’t see it coming.

BBVA Compass Bowl
Pitt 23 Kentucky 15: Pitt really disappointed this year, but at least they get to play Kentucky in a bowl game. I guess the Wildcats got here because of their “near” win against Auburn.

Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl (great cause, and honestly, I am hungry writing this)
Nevada 40 Boston College 27: The Pistol wins another one. Nevada is a fun team to watch.

BCS Title Game
Auburn 38 Oregon 35: Cam Newton leads the Tigers to the National Title on a final 2 minute drive. Yeah, I said that last week, but whatever. I REALLY hope this is a good game. It should be. I am also excited to see what uni’s Oregon will wear. It will be special.

Most look good. I will say i think Kentucky will crush Pitt. So I would flip the score you have and tack on 7. I also think Arkansas will beat Ohio State. They are playing real well right now. Mallet is amazing. Also, Miss St will beat Michigan. Just my opinion, and you know, eveyone has one:-).
